Artist's Comments

I already see a lot of mistakes, but if you want to point them out. Go ahead. ^^ I'm pretty happy with this and I think I'll fix it up even further some day. But I can't stand working on it right now, so I'm proclaiming it done. <D I guess I need to practice patience some more.

This was all done in photoshop, some parts individually colored and some parts done with dodge and burn tool. I'm sure it's noticeable though. XD

Urgh, I hate the grass since it's a brush. I find it cheaty. But it looked nicer than if I made it myself. Oh well...

Once again, I'm not shading or highlighting right, just wanted to cover up mistakes and make it look okay. Really got to try it for real sometime. XD

I'm pretty proud of myself, because I did this in about 16 hours. I don't recall another time when I took so long to work on something, even if I did get lazy eventually. I'm progressing~

Dah, what's this pic about? Well, since Battle City's over, I was thinking of working on Julia's story. I was hoping of making into a comic, but with previous experience I know I can't do it. ^^; So I thought of just drawing random scenes, maybe small bits of comics, and writing out some parts. They are gonna be out of order, but oh well! XD This will force me to work on art more and allows Julia's story to be flexible enough for me to change.

Now about the actual picture, uh....it won't make sense to anyone except maybe :iconlittleribbon: so I don't see much point to explaining. Julia's just talking with a large spectacled cobra.

It's all the way in the front, so I thought that was right size? Maybe cuz the stem extends lower to the ground and the tree is blocking it

Yeah if the whole flower was in front more, the pedals and stem drawn on top of the tree, it'd look more close to them. It seems like the right size for being in front of them. ^w^

Hm, would it still be right if they were behind the tree or still wrong?
