Having difficulty with coloring grass and trees. My outlines of them look pretty good, but once I start coloring it becomes rather gross. Which was why I tried to make a dirt patch, but it clashes badly, huh?
Also, the pic was actually wider, but it got bent when I took it to school. Sorry ~cote-092... Thankeh to ~Mineshaft, I actually bothered to try smudging this time around. Really helped with the buildings, though it still has marks. The dark marks on the sky....are my fingerprints (not from smudging).  Tried to save it, but it just got dirtier. Got to be more careful.Why are the buildings black when it's not dark.....Uggh....It was originally suppose to be a night sky so I colored the buildings first, but I realized I didn't have an appropriate color for the sky, so I decided to try one of those pretty purplish red sunsets, forgetting the buildings. ;-; Oh my god, the scanner killed the sky even more. It showed even more of the marks and some of the lighter colors disappeared. DX ....Weeeell, I guess I am pretty happy with this. Definitely my best in traditional art so far. <D Hope you like it  Oh yeah, the bottom pic...thought it was cute and I liked the contrast to the top. XP P.S. To ~speckledmindphoenix, I ran into some difficulties with your pic. D8 So please be patient for me. Ciro Nieli owns Antauri and Nova. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
